You are invited to join the Common Knowledge team for our August Heritage Open Day. We will kick off the day with at 11am with a Traditional Food Preserving workshop as we preserve some of our vegetables and plants from our site this will be followed by a walk and talk as we discuss all things heritage and biodiversity on our 50 acre site in Kilfenora, including:
You can choose to join us from 11am for a Preservation workshop or join us from 2pm for a walk and talk on our 50 acre site in Kilfenora:
11am - 1.30pm: Preservation Workshop: Learn about this food preservation and the traditional methods for keeping food for the winter months in Common Knowledge with Tabatha Halliday - no experience necessary. If you're staying for the guided walk, please bring a packed lunch.
2pm - 3.30pm: Guided Walk: For the second half of the day, we will talk a walk through our 50 acre site where you'll meet our farm animals and explore the biodiversity of the site, fellowed by tea and biscuits with your fellow attendees. This part of the day is suitable for all ages, with children accompanied by an adult at all times.
