llewyn maire

Rev llewyn máire (they/ she/ ki) is a queer animist culture worker who has been fermenting food, word, and sound in the Burren since 2015.

Ki makes work as a community-based chef, facilitator, a/v artist, neuroqueer poet, and a ferment celebrant/ co-founder of Savage Craic.

llewyn is devoted to sharing relationship driven, land-centred experiences that call for a return to the commons — art, music, poetry, and food that explores unique elements of exchange which centre decolonial community lifeways rooted in reciprocity and mutual liberation.

This has manifested through making space and creative work, organising events, pop-ups, and care offerings; performing live art and music in Europe, the UK and across Turtle Island since the early 90s.

llewyn is currently based in the Republic of Ireland.
