Annie Gambrill

Annie is a shepherdess, ambassador for heritage crafts and a teacher of traditional hand spinning, weaving and natural dyeing. Originally from West Sussex and now living in North Mayo, she specialises in spinning and weaving Irish sheep's wool and alpaca as well as designing and weaving her own unique tweed.

She was taught to spin yarn at the age of 10 and is a self taught weaver, with an emphasis on free flow weaving using both rigid heddle looms and vintage 4 shaft looms.
